Thank you for the dinner and gift last Sunday. Also, for the gift from the children. This was a blessing.

The Storm .... The passing of a friend...

In a moment the darkness seems to cover us

"This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declared unto you, that God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all."

But something else that is, also, unbelievable.....

"But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on Earth to forgive sin.....forgiving power......" -Matthew 9:6

To the Linemen, Firemen, Police and neighbors and many others helping rebuild.. it has took everybody to make a difference.


Matthew 19:14

" But Jesus said, suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for if such is the kingdom of Heaven."

The weak, the frightened, the elderly, and the young Jesus always defended them.


Psalms 8:4

" What is man that thou art mindful of Him and the Son of man that visited Him."

When we see the beauty of God's work, we stand at the wonder of it all. Oh What Love.

Join Us for Youth Group at Maranatha Baptist Church!

Are you looking for a fun and engaging way for your kids to grow in their faith and build lasting friendships? Look no further than the Youth Group at Maranatha Baptist Church in Weaverville, NC! We invite children and teens aged 5 to 18 to join us every Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 PM for an exciting time of learning, fellowship, and fun.

What We Offer

At Maranatha Baptist Church, we believe in creating an environment where young people can explore their faith in a safe and welcoming space. Our Youth Group sessions are packed with activities that cater to a wide range of interests:

Bible Lessons: Our primary focus is on teaching the Word of God. Each week, we dive into Scripture, helping our youth understand and apply biblical truths to their daily lives.

Games: We know how important it is for kids to have fun while they learn. Our Youth Group includes a variety of games that are both entertaining and educational, encouraging teamwork and building strong relationships.

Snacks: What’s a Youth Group without snacks? We provide delicious treats to keep everyone energized and ready for the next activity.

Crafts: Creative expression is a big part of our program. From painting to crafting, we offer hands-on projects that allow kids to explore their artistic side while reinforcing the lessons of the day.

Music: Music plays a key role in our worship and fellowship. Whether it's singing songs of praise or just enjoying some good tunes, music brings our group closer together.

And SO Much More!: Every week is a new adventure at Maranatha Baptist Church’s Youth Group. With a variety of activities planned, there’s always something exciting happening.

We meet every Wednesday evening at Maranatha Baptist Church, located at 1040 Lower Flat Creek Rd, Alexander, NC. Our sessions run from 7:00 to 8:00 PM, giving your children a midweek boost of faith, fun, and friendship.

As summer winds down and the school year approaches, Maranatha Baptist Church is excited to host a Back to School Bash! This event is the perfect way to celebrate the end of summer and get ready for the new school year with your family and friends.

What to Expect:

Water Fun: Bring a change of clothes and get ready to splash around with our fun water activities.

1 Timothy 4:16

What things ? The gifts and ability that God has given you. Use them often in service to God and others.

2 Cor. 4:17

"For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory."

Here All we know is temporal, just a moment, but for a season.

Psalms 68:19

Blessed be the Lord who daily loadeth us with benefits even the God of our Salvation.

If we see ourselves loaded with benefits and blessings our sorrow and trials will not seem so heavy.

What a sweet singing we had on Sunday night. Thank all of you for the participation from the kids to Mrs Virginia. The Lord blessed our efforts.
